Congratulations to the winners of the HealieTech giveaway at the Born Global Summit! Thanks to everyone who came by to see the HealieTech team on the Friday of the Houston Tech Rodeo. Hope to see you all again soon!

HealieTech was born from a startup studio called FedTech.io. FedTech introduced our co-founders, CEO Dr. Christel Bastida and COO Sibi Shanthi, to the unique Self-Healing Materials patent from NASA. Sibi and Dr. Christel were able to find a product-market fit for the technology and applied for a license to utilize the technology. HealieTech was recently awarded the license.

HealieTech's CEO, Dr. Christel Bastida, was fortunate enough to meet TechWerx CEO, Rick Harlow, at a Houston startup event called Cup of Joey. Rick quickly picked up on the value and opportunity that we had with our technology and immediately wanted to support the growth of our business. HealieTech is now a TechWerx Accelerator company.

HealieTech had the opportunity to pitch at an event, where we met someone from Capital Factory. They were able to award us a Golden Ticket to access resources from Capital Factory to truly accelerate our business.
